Create a new Payment
We have just updated our New Payment screen to make creating a new payment easier and quicker for all our users. Below is an animation of entering a new payment.

When you first open the screen, the next button is not enabled - this is because you need to enter a description and amount first.

Once you have enter this information - you can progress to the next screen.
We've added a bit of AI here too. Certain payment types will result in extra fields being completed. In the example we have used a description of "Salary". This means that the app can automatically work out that this is a money coming in rather than a bill.
Otherwise the payment will default to a Bill (outgoing money) - and if it is income you may have to manually set it.
Once you have set the Description, Amount and Payment Type. Press Next, to enter the payment frequency.

From this screen - select the correct payment frequency. Because we are creating a salary payment - Monthly was already selected for us. (you can change it if required)
Pressing next takes you to the Date Page.

On this page, you can select the date that the payment will be next made, or the date of the first payment to be made. If possible, try to enter the first payment date.
If you chose a weekly payment, you'll be asked for a weekday instead

Select the day of the week required, you'll be taken to the next page.
If you're a pro user, the next screen will be the Advanced Options screen. On this screen you can select hoe many payments will be made, or what the date of the final payment is. This is great for setting up thing like loan payments or home insurance that is paid over 12 months

If you were, for example, to set Number of Payments to be Made to 12, once 12 payments had been added to your budget, the payment would automatically stop being part of your budget.
You can just press next and skip this screen.
The final screen is the summary screen, this shows a summary of the payment you are creating.

Check the information. If there is something wrong you can go back and correct it. Other wise you can either press Save to save the payment or Save and Add Another to save this payment and then start creating another payment.
